Steering Rack I took out the steering rack, cleaned it up, and installed new poly bushings. After this upgrade, the steering feel and response improved significantly. This job was made easy by doing it when I already had the engine out.     Aug 18, 2002 - I decided to upgrade the power steering bushings since I already had the engine out and this would be the perfect time. I got the poly bushings from SuperFlex. The job itself was not that difficult given where I already was. I am hoping that these bushing will help tighten up the steering. I have already pretty much converted all other bushing to poly and this was the last to go. Also, you can see in the edge of one of the photos the upgraded braided steel clutch line to go with my upgraded clutch. You really need this when going to higher pressure clutches because its a real pain to have this go out on you somewhere far from home.   Click to enlarge
