Here are a number of exterior
shots
The
following gathering of photos, shows the progression
of the car as I made various changes. It is interesting
in that the "look" that I was striving for was not
the typical "boy racer" look, but something that
was provocative, yet understated. Judge for yourself.

Here
are the new carbon fiber hood scoops as we
were setting them out for positioning. They
should really help to pull the hot air out
from under the hood.

Here
is a photo of the car is original dress. The
Aero is a fairly impressive car in stock form.
However, once you start to make changes, you
realize how much better it can look and perform.
For example, notice how the lowering of the
car an additional 15mm gives the car a stronger
stance. Here it looks like the wheels are
too small for the fenders and the tires look
skimpy with 205/55's. The only thing done
at this point is that the windows were given
a darker tint.

The
car is starting to take shape. In addition
to the AP Racing 330mm big brake kit, the
new Koni / Eibach suspension with Momo wheels
has been installed. The car now has the suspension
and stopping power to handle the additional
power that is coming.

Here
you can see that I have replaced the US DOT
front pumpkins (turn signals) with the much
better looking European clear signals. These
were pretty much plug and play except that
the US spec signals have a spot for reverse
illumination. I had to take a Dremel tool
to the back of the signal housing and remove
the plastic from the spot where the light
will go. After the hole was ready, I tool
the original light and plugged it in. At the
same time that I did the signals, I also installed
a set of E code European headlamps. While
these do not make a big cosmetic difference,
they do have significantly better lighting
capabilities.

| I
have modified the stock grill with this aluminum
mesh. The job was pretty easy and only involved
drilling out the existing rivets that hold
the stock grill together. Then I sandwiched
the mesh in between the stock pieces after
I removed the horizontal fins. |

| This
is a clip from a Swedish mag of PA's car which
was putting out something like 600HP. You
can also note that he has changed the rear
wing and gone to a single wiper setup. It
also looks like the front headlight wipers
were not optioned on his car. |
